Abstract:
The author of the present article addresses the little-studied problem of continuation of medieval traditions in the Russian literature of the second half of the 20th century. The subject of considerations is the realization of the medieval genre of vision in the Village Prose. The author focuses on the problems of evolution and modification of the genre; a mining of naming, composition and psychologism; literary documentalism and historicism in the preservation of the genre tradition and its renewal..
