Research interests: Yugoslav literature, history and poetics of medieval literature, source study, South Slavic manuscripts.

Researcher on scientific projects at the Philosophy Department in Belgrade (2001–2013), the Byzantine Institute SANU (2001-2010) and the Balkan Institute SANU (since 2013)

Member of the Ambrosian Academy of Sciences in Milan (Academia Ambrosiana), one of the oldest European academies (founded in 1609)

Award Golden Serbian Literature of the Alexander Arnautovic Foundation for exceptional contribution to the study of Serbian literature (2015)
